DESCRIPTION:

Adults Programme: This 15 lesson programme is designed for non-Chinese speaking adults who want to be able to communicate confidently and effectively in Mandarin in a wide range of everyday situations. Designed to be fun and engaging with the use of games, role-playing drama and other interactive activities.

Family Programme: This 15 lesson programme is designed for non-Chinese speaking families (one or both parents together with 1 or more children 5yrs old and above) who want to be able to communicate confidently and effectively in Mandarin in a wide range of everyday situations. Designed to be fun and engaging with the use of games, role-playing drama and other interactive activities, it is also a great family bonding activity.

Participants will learn Pinyin (phonetic transcription system), vocabulary and expressions that are used on a daily basis as well as proper sentence structure for immediate use. In addition, you will have the chance to learn some of the more common Chinese characters and interesting aspects of Chinese culture.

Each course follows a customised set of dynamic materials based on the ability levels and needs of the combined individuals in the class and incorporates supplementary materials to make your learning experience more varied and interesting. Our classes employ a modern communicative approach with plenty of opportunities to practice the language through interactive situations and role-play scenarios. . Our approach is modular, wherein a new topic is discussed in each class, which ensures unique lessons. It is our belief that this is an efficient way of learning the language, especially for those who are unable to commit to regular classes due to hectic schedules. Students can revise at their own time, and not miss out on any topic.
